This is a hojicha (roasted green tea) made from tea leaves harvested in summer and roasted at high temperature, then ground into a powder while preserving its rich, toasty aroma.
Grown naturally for many years by the Takeo farm, you can enjoy all the qualities of this tea with confidence.

Convenient for busy moments, it can be prepared without any steeping time.
It is also perfect for making popular drinks such as hojicha lattes or for use in baking and desserts.

Preparation guide

For one cup (about 100 ml): add slightly less than 1/3 teaspoon (0.5 g) of powder to water or hot water.
Stir well with a spoon before drinking.

Tea contains theine, but it also contains theanine, an amino acid naturally present in tea leaves. Theanine helps soften and slow the effects of theine.
For this reason, tea is less likely than coffee to cause sudden stimulation, stomach irritation, or fatigue after drinking.
Thanks to the action of theanine, it promotes a calm and focused state of concentration.
